Experience: 2–5 Years

Salary: ₹20,000–₹40,000 per month (Based on Experience and Performance)

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our steel trading and distribution business. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, generating sales leads, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and develop new customers in the steel sector.
- Generate business opportunities through field visits, references, networking, and market research.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable steel products and solutions.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly customer development targets.
- Conduct market visits to understand demand, pricing, competitors, and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
- Build a strong customer network and contribute to long-term business growth.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.




- Solid sales skills.
- Knowledge of the steel industry and structural steel products will be preferred.
- Ability to generate leads and develop new customers.
- Good market knowledge and willingness to travel for customer visits.
- Strong follow-up and customer relationship management skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE

- Experience in steel trading and steel distribution.
- Existing contacts with contractors, fabricators, builders, industries, or project buyers will be an advantage.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred for field visits.

EDUCATION Graduate / MBA (Sales & Marketing) or equivalent qualification preferred.
