Job Title: Business Analyst-Infrastructure Compliance & Audit

Location: Chennai

Role Summary: The Business Analyst Infrastructure is responsible for ensuring that IT infrastructure operations adhere to compliance standards, audit requirements, and documentation best practices. This role involves analyzing processes, tracking activities, and supporting governance initiatives to maintain secure, reliable, and compliant infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure infrastructure processes align with regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.).
- Monitor adherence to internal IT policies and standards.
- Support risk assessments and compliance reporting.

- Audit Support
- Prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.
- Track remediation of audit findings and ensure timely closure.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to maintain audit readiness.

- Documentation Management
- Maintain accurate records of infrastructure configurations, changes, and incidents.
- Develop and update process documentation, SOPs, and compliance manuals.
- Ensure version control and accessibility of documentation.
- Activity Tracking & Reporting




- Track infrastructure activities (patching, upgrades, firewall changes, network updates).
- Generate reports on compliance status, audit readiness, and operational metrics.
- Provide insights to management on gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work with IT, security, and operations teams to align compliance goals.
- Act as liaison between technical teams and auditors/regulators.
- Support training and awareness programs on compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Administration or equivalent.
- 3–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, compliance, or audit support.
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL).
- Familiarity with cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Skills & Competencies

- Attention to detail and process orientation.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret compliance requirements into actionable tasks.
- Proficiency in reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, ServiceNow, etc.).
