Job Title: Business Analyst – Healthcare Domain

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 6+ Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Healthcare to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring effective delivery of healthcare-focused projects, including payer/provider systems, EHR/EMR, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
- Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies
- Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement walkthroughs
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful delivery




- Manage change requests and maintain requirement traceability

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, IT, or related field
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare domain
- Solid understanding of Healthcare systems (Payer/Provider)
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems
- Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD/CPT coding
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in US Healthcare domain
- Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA
- Exposure to data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI)
- Knowledge of claims processing, eligibility, billing, or clinical workflows
