Job Summary

As a SaaS organization, our Business Systems Analysts play a key role in supporting Agile software delivery by partnering with stakeholders and development teams. This position serves as a primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication, well-defined requirements, and successful solution delivery. It blends business analysis with Agile team facilitation, initially focusing on coordination, communication, and Agile execution, with opportunities to build deeper product and domain expertise over time.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Capture clear, structured notes in real time during meetings while actively facilitating discussions and managing meeting flow, including decisions, action items, and open questions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine business needs, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Produce and maintain product artifacts, including requirements, impact analysis, and key decisions
- Support backlog grooming and prioritization in partnership with Product and Engineering
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment and clarity
- Work closely with development teams to resolve questions, remove blockers, and ensure steady progress toward delivery
- Support testing and validation efforts, including acceptance testing, to ensure solutions meet business requirements

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst,



Scrum Master, or similar role within a software development setting
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead discussions and drive clarity across teams
- Excellent real-time note-taking and documentation abilities, with the ability to quickly capture detailed information during live meetings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
- Ability to gather and evaluate information from multiple sources and distinguish between stated requests and underlying business needs
- Comfortable supporting testing activities, including writing test scenarios and participating in acceptance testing
- Demonstrated ability and desire to learn complex business domains and grow into deeper product knowledge over time
- Experience working with an Agile Project Management tool, preference for Rally
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Supplemental Qualifications: The following experience is helpful but not required:

- Experience working with API clients such as Postman or Bruno
- Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to work with data for analysis or validation
- Exposure to U.S. mortgage banking or secondary marketing
