We are looking for an experienced Billing & Planning Engineer with mandatory railway project experience to handle project billing, quantity measurement, project planning, progress monitoring, and documentation. The candidate should have strong knowledge of construction billing, planning software, and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Progress Monitoring

- Prepare and update project schedules, weekly and monthly work plans, and look-ahead plans.
- Monitor planned versus actual progress, project milestones, and target completion dates.
- Identify delays, constraints, and pending activities and coordinate with site teams to resolve them.
- Track manpower, materials, equipment requirements, and work-front progress.

Billing & Quantity Measurement

- Prepare client RA (Running Account) bills for assigned work packages.
- Verify executed quantities against site measurements, approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
- Prepare measurement sheets, quantity abstracts, and reconciliation statements.
- Verify subcontractor bills and track billing submissions, certifications, and approvals.
- Assist in final billing and document quantity variations or additional works.

Railway Project Coordination

- Monitor railway project quantities, work packages,



and planned completion dates.
- Coordinate with client and consultant representatives for measurements, billing, and certifications.
- Maintain project records and support documentation for scope changes and extra items.

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain billing trackers, quantity statements, dashboards, and project MIS.
- Track pending bills, balance quantities, and project progress.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, planning teams, and commercial teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in billing and planning.
- Mandatory: Railway project experience. Candidates with only general building construction experience and no railway project exposure will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, RA bills, quantity measurement, and reconciliation.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, and conditional formulas.
- Experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Positive documentation, reporting, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English.
