Primary Skills

- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, experienced team player professional with exceptional hands-on skills.
- Well versed in the administration and management of Networker, Commvault, Data domain & Tape Libraries Technologies.
- The role requires providing support for Backup infrastructure for availability and performance.
- Able to collaborate with other departments and Backup teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Responsibility/role within the Backup team to Standardize and manage the entire Backup infrastructure.
- Responsible for proper Backup provisioning, tracking and capacity planning to maintain a sustainable production environment.
- Assist various audit, compliance and Risk Control.
- Thorough knowledge on business criticalities and understanding on data recovery and objectives.
- Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements, and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of supervision.

Must Have

- Good knowledge for Networker, Commvault, Netbackup, Data domain & Tape Libraries with excellent Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience and clear understanding on Data Protection services and Management.
- Self-motivated personnel with valuable attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- 3-5 years (Relevant) of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement.




- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience.
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

- Monitoring of the Backup Schedules
- Basic Troubleshooting of Backup Failure alerts
- Perform Backup restorations / drills
- Review of daily/weekly/monthly Backup checklist
- Backup failure Incident and Request Fulfilment Management
- Coordinating with vendors for escalation
- Backup Report submission
- Policy Creations / Deletion / Modification for configured hosts
- Planning and execution of Restoration drill as per defined policy
- Configuration and Backup database backup as per the policy defined by the customer.
- Recommendation of Best Practice for Backup
- OEM Coordination of RCA for Major Incidents
- Performance tuning suggested by OEM
- Updation and maintenance of Availability, Capacity management
- Continual Service Improvement Planning and executions
- Planning and execution of DR Drills based on availability of DR setup and recovery procedures (Applicable if the DR is in scope)
- Preparing, maintaining and updation of SOP and Knowledge Base

QualificationsGraduate :- Preferably in BSc, BSIT. BA, BCom may be considered. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
