Role Description The Australia/NZ Counsellor will provide end-to-end guidance to students interested in studying in Australia and New Zealand. In this full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad (Bodakdev), the counsellor will conduct student consultations, assess academic backgrounds and career interests, and recommend suitable universities, colleges, and courses. Daily responsibilities include explaining admission criteria, application timelines, and documentation requirements; supporting students through application preparation; and coordinating with internal teams for smooth processing.

The counsellor will also assist with visa counselling, interview preparation, and pre-departure guidance, while maintaining accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups. The role involves regular communication with students and families,



participation in events or seminars, and staying updated on changing policies and opportunities in Australia and New Zealand education.

Handling financials and GS and sending to the university , lodging Australia and NZ visa files.

Qualifications

- Strong student counselling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand academic profiles, career goals, and guide students toward suitable Australia/NZ institutions and programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English, active listening, and the ability to build trust with students and families.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, such as managing multiple student cases, maintaining accurate records, and meeting application and visa-related timelines.
- Knowledge of overseas education systems, preferably Australia and New Zealand, including admission processes, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
- Proficiency in basic computer and office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or student management systems) to manage student data and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counselling, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in study-abroad counselling, education consulting, or student advisory services is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad (Bodakdev), collaborate with team members, and maintain a professional, student-centric approach.
