1. Job Summary

QMet International Private Limited is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Auditor with practical experience in management system audits. The role involves conducting audits against applicable ISO standards, evaluating client compliance, verifying audit evidence, documenting findings, and preparing audit reports in accordance with established audit procedures and requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning and Execution

- Plan and conduct management system audits against applicable ISO standards and defined audit criteria.
- Review client documents, procedures, records, and management system implementation.
- Conduct audit interviews, examine processes, and collect objective evidence.
- Evaluate compliance with applicable standard requirements and identify nonconformities.
- Ensure audit activities are completed within the approved scope and schedule.

Audit Reporting and Follow-up

- Prepare accurate and structured audit reports documenting findings and supporting evidence.
- Classify and record nonconformities in accordance with applicable audit procedures.
- Review corrective action plans and supporting evidence, where assigned.
- Maintain complete audit records and submit reports within established timelines.
- Communicate audit findings clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Standards and Compliance

- Apply relevant ISO standards, audit principles, and applicable certification procedures.
- Maintain impartiality, confidentiality, and professional integrity throughout audit activities.




- Keep updated on applicable standards, audit methodologies, and relevant requirements.
- Report audit-related concerns, discrepancies, and risks to the Certification Manager.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy and quality of audit reports
- Compliance with audit procedures and timelines
- Quality of audit evidence and findings
- Timely completion and submission of audit reports
- Accuracy and completeness of audit documentation
- Effective follow-up on corrective actions, where assigned

4. Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in management system auditing, quality assurance, or certification-related audits.
- Relevant ISO Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification for the applicable standard is preferred or required, depending on the assigned audit role.
- Practical understanding of ISO standards, audit methodology, and management system requirements.
- Experience in audit execution, identifying nonconformities, and preparing audit reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office and audit documentation.
