The candidate will be responsible for managing and handling patent prosecution matters in India and international jurisdictions. The role involves preparing and filing responses to First Examination Reports (FERs), examination office actions, hearing submissions, and other prosecution-related documents. The candidate will work closely with inventors, R&D; teams, and other patent attorneys to develop effective prosecution strategies, address objections raised by patent offices, and facilitate the grant of patent applications.

The candidate will also be involved in patent application drafting, claim amendments, patentability analysis, prior art evaluation, and providing technical and legal inputs to strengthen patent applications. Familiarity with patent prosecution procedures in India, the United States, Europe, and PCT jurisdictions will be an added advantage. Strong analytical, technical writing,



communication, and case management skills are essential for this role.

Mandatory Key Skills :

Strong expertise in patent prosecution, including drafting and filing responses to FERs and examination office actions.

Experience in handling patent hearings, claim amendments, objections, and prosecution strategies.

Valuable knowledge of Indian patent laws, rules, and examination procedures.

Ability to analyze prior art and develop effective arguments to overcome patentability objections.

Registered Indian Patent Agent with a valid registration number.

Qualification:

B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Automobile, Production/Industrial, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical
