Summary

As an Accounting Specialist, youll play a vital role in our success by being responsible for risk and control of environment, reporting and developing internal control processes. You will have the opportunity to have exposure to global accounting processes, Audit, IFRS and guidelines.

- Preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Balance sheet and P&L; reconciliations.
- Support for internal and external audits.
- Tax recording and validation.
- Month-end close process: monthly accruals. Bank Reconciliation, ICP Reconciliation, IFRS16 Calculation and follow-up.
- Control follow-up and compliance management.
- Fixed asset & Inventory Management.
- Prepayments Management.
- Ensuring that all the General Ledger accounting and Financial / Management Reporting is done in accordance with IFRS and APMM GAP.
- Additional functions may be required according to business area needs.

Required Experience

- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of local and international financial regulations, financial analysis, and the audit process.
- Years of Experience: 5-7 years experience with accounting and reporting.




- Experience in control framework and IFRS (added advantage).
- Experienced in creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring control follow-up and compliance.
- Experienced in global company and transaction volume management.
- Software: Advanced Excel. Systems like SAP and OS would be preferred
