Role Description The Assistant Professor in Management (Artificial Intelligence) is a full-time, on-site position based at the Gandhinagar campus. The role involves designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses that integrate management principles with artificial intelligence applications, including lectures, seminars, case discussions, and project supervision. The faculty member will conduct original research in AI-driven management, publish in reputable journals, and contribute to funded research projects and collaborative initiatives with industry and academic partners.

Day-to-day responsibilities include curriculum development, mentoring students, supervising dissertations, participating in academic committees, and contributing to accreditation and quality assurance processes. The role also includes engaging with industry for guest lectures, internships, and consulting projects, as well as supporting university events, conferences, and outreach activities.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in University Teaching and Curriculum Development, with experience designing and delivering management courses that integrate Artificial Intelligence concepts.




- Demonstrated Research capabilities in management, AI applications in business, or related areas, including publications in peer-reviewed journals or reputable conferences.
- Knowledge of Organizational Behavior and Marketing, with the ability to connect these domains to data-driven and AI-enabled decision-making in organizations.
- Relevant academic qualifications, typically a PhD (or near completion) in Management, Business Administration, Artificial Intelligence in Management, or closely related field.
- Ability to use learning technologies, data analytics tools, or AI platforms to enhance teaching, assessment, and student engagement.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and diverse academic environment.
- Experience in industry collaboration, consulting, or executive education in management and AI is an advantage.
- Commitment to research-led teaching, ethical academic practices, continuous professional development, and student mentorship.
