We are looking for a passionate and creative Assistant Professor – Fashion Design to join our academic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct theory, studio and practical classes for Fashion Design students.
- Teach subjects such as Fashion Illustration, Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Textiles, Draping and Fashion Design.
- Guide students in design projects, collections, assignments and portfolios.
- Provide practical training in stitching, garment construction and finishing techniques.
- Mentor and evaluate students on their academic and practical work.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, techniques and industry practices.
- Support workshops, exhibitions, fashion shows and industry interactions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology,
Apparel Design or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching/industry experience preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of pattern making, stitching, garment construction and fashion illustration.
- Good communication, presentation and student-handling skills.
- Freshers with solid academic/project portfolios may also be considered.
