Role: Assistant Manager - Delivery

Process: Prior Authorization (US Healthcare)

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage Prior Authorization operations for US Healthcare accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of authorization requests, referrals, and payer follow-ups.
- Monitor team productivity, quality, SLA adherence, and client deliverables.
- Handle escalations and work closely with internal stakeholders, providers, insurance payers, and clients.
- Analyze process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive operational excellence.
- Conduct regular team reviews, coaching sessions, and performance management activities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines, client requirements, and organizational policies.
- Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to management and clients.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

- 8 to 12 years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).




- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Prior Authorization operations.
- Robust knowledge of insurance verification, authorization workflows, payer guidelines, and denial prevention.
- Proven experience in team handling, client management, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and people management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in managing quality, productivity, and SLA metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience handling large teams and client-facing responsibilities.
- Exposure to process improvement methodologies and transition projects.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and healthcare workflow tools.
