We are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager – Payments to oversee payment operations, fund flow, cash flow planning, accounts payable, vendor payments, branch expenses, claims, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting.

The role involves managing Accounts Managers and the Payments Team, ensuring timely payment processing, maintaining strong financial controls, monitoring outstanding payments, and supporting senior management with accurate financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily payment operations and ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
- Monitor daily payment plans, fund availability, cash flow requirements, and fund allocation.
- Coordinate with the Finance Manager and Finance Controller on payment priorities and funding requirements.
- Manage vendor payments, branch expenses, statutory payments, claims, and reimbursements.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivables, outstanding balances, ageing reports, and reconciliations.
- Ensure payment requests, supporting documents, and approvals comply with company policies.
- Identify cash flow shortages, payment delays, and financial risks, and escalate critical issues.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and budget-versus-actual variance analysis.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and financial statements.




- Lead and guide Accounts Managers and the Payments Team to improve efficiency and accountability.
- Coordinate with branches, vendors, Procurement, Operations, and other departments to resolve payment issues.
- Strengthen financial controls, optimise fund utilisation, and improve payment processes.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of payment operations, accounts payable, fund flow, and cash flow management.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of vendor payments, branch expenses, claims, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Positive team management, communication, and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA Finance, CA Inter, or CMA Inter will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in finance and accounts, particularly in payment operations and cash flow management.
- Experience in team management and handling high-volume payment operations will be preferred.

Location:Calicut Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
