Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all activities of the chair molded parts assembly line.

- Ensure adherence to daily production schedules and delivery timelines.

- Monitor output quality and ensure SOPs and work instructions are followed.

- Train and guide operators and helpers on correct assembly techniques and ergonomic practices.

- Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective action in case of defects, rework, or downtime.

- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams for smooth line operations.

- Maintain shift reports, daily productivity logs, and defect tracking.

- Implement and uphold 5S, lean manufacturing, and safety protocols.

Requirements

- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/assembly supervision in Office chair industry/Sofa.

- Basic knowledge of lean tools (5S, Kaizen, TPM) preferred.

- Ability to work in rapid-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments.
