Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for an Article Assistant and Semi Qualified CA not appearing for CA Final. The role involves assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and related assurance engagements under the supervision of seniors and partners. Daily responsibilities include preparing working papers, performing test checks, verifying financial statements and ledgers, and supporting compliance with tax, regulatory, and accounting standards.





The team member will help in drafting reports, preparing documentation for tax filings, and supporting advisory and corporate finance assignments, including due diligence and valuation-related tasks. The role also requires maintaining organized documentation, coordinating with clients for data collection, and contributing to research on accounting, tax, and regulatory updates.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and common accounting software; comfort working in an automated, digital environment.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction, report writing, and teamwork.
- Ability to analyze financial data, perform reconciliations, and prepare accurate working papers.
- Good organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Eligibility as an Article Assistant or Semi Qualified CA (not appearing for CA Final), with relevant academic background in commerce or accounting.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take responsibility in a structured professional environment.
- Prior internship or experience in audit, tax, or related areas will be an added advantage.
