About the Role: We are hiring an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Officer (ASO) for our business partner in the Ice Cream and FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales operations, expanding market coverage, strengthening distributor networks, driving primary and secondary sales, and achieving sales targets across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for ice cream and FMCG products.
- Manage and strengthen distributor, dealer, wholesaler, retailer, and general trade networks.
- Drive primary sales, secondary sales, and overall territory revenue growth.
- Identify and onboard new distributors, retail outlets, ice cream parlours, grocery stores, and key accounts.
- Expand market penetration, improve outlet coverage, and increase product availability across the assigned territory.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock availability, inventory movement, and product-wise sales.
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility, merchandising, and in-store promotional execution.
- Implement company sales schemes, trade offers, seasonal promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
- Manage ice cream distribution requirements, including freezer placement, cold-chain practices,



and product storage standards where applicable.
- Track competitor pricing, promotional activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Monitor sales collections, outstanding payments, and distributor credit discipline.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, market visit reports, and sales forecasts.
- Conduct regular field visits to distributors, retailers, and high-potential outlets to improve business performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment, product availability, and smooth market operations.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in field sales, territory sales, or area sales within the Ice Cream industry.
- Candidate will be finalised after thorough Background Verification from the previous employers.
- Prior experience in the Ice Cream industry is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of FMCG distribution, general trade, primary sales, and secondary sales.
- Proven experience in distributor handling, retailer management, and territory development.
- Knowledge of the West Bengal market, particularly North and South 24 Parganas, will be preferred (Candidate required from North 24 Parganas)
- Strong communication, negotiation,



relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and manage a high-volume field-sales territory.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- A two-wheeler and a valid driving licence will be preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Monthly salary of ₹20,000–₹30,000, depending on experience and suitability.
