Role & responsibilities

- Drive primary and secondary sales achievement for the assigned territory in line with business targets.

- Manage and develop a network of distributors to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth.

- Ensure distribution expansion, outlet coverage, and product availability across the territory.

- Lead, coach, and monitor Sales Officers and field teams to improve productivity and execution.

- Execute company GTM initiatives, trade schemes, merchandising standards, and promotional activities.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and channel developments and recommend action plans.

- Ensure effective implementation of beat plans, market working norms, and retail coverage standards.

- Drive current outlet addition, category growth, and penetration across existing and emerging markets.

- Review business performance regularly and take corrective actions to achieve sales, collection, and distribution objectives.

- Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers,



and key channel partners to strengthen market presence and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong exposure to FMCG, Innerwear, Apparel, Consumer Durables, or related industries.

- Proven experience in distributor management, sales planning, and market development.

- Experience in handling field sales teams and driving business through front-line sales executives.

- Strong understanding of General Trade operations, distribution management, and retail execution.

- Ability to analyse business performance and drive data-based decision-making.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales and distribution targets.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography.

- Strong leadership, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced business environment.
