Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic and technically proficient Sales Officer to manage and expand our key accounts across academic research institutes, diagnostic centers, hospitals, and blood banks.

In this role, you will oversee field sales for advanced life science research portfolios (Molecular Biology instruments, Next-Generation Sequencing - NGS platforms) and specialized clinical product lines (Blood Centre equipment, Bone Marrow Transplant - BMT disposables, and Hemodialysis systems).

Key Responsibilities

- Sales Generation: Drive sales revenue for Molecular Biology tools, NGS workflow solutions, Blood Centre equipment, BMT disposables, and Dialysis units.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with Pathologists, Nephrologists, Hematologists, Lab Directors, and Purchase Managers.
- Technical Pitches & Demos:



Deliver technical presentations and workflow demonstrations tailored to research scientists and clinical specialists.
- Tender Execution: Track, prepare, and submit private and government institutional tender applications.
- Territory Coverage: Conduct regular field visits, assess market potential, and secure sales within assigned territories.

Candidate Profile & Requirements Applicants must possess solid domain knowledge and hands-on sales experience in the specified fields.
- Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology or related disciplines.
- Experience: 2–5 years of field sales experience in Medical Equipment, In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), or Life Science research instrumentation.
- Domain Expertise Required:
- Solid understanding of Genomics, Molecular Biology, and NGS technologies.
- Exposure to Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine equipment & BMT consumables.
- Knowledge of Hemodialysis machines and related consumables.
- Skills: Consultative selling approach, strong negotiation capabilities, self-drive, and professional communication skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
