Area Sales Manager – Mechatronics (Mumbai Region)

Build Luna's mechatronics business across Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Kolhapur and Aurangabad, from the first dealer to the biggest OEM account.

Sell HIWIN, Sungil, WON, TPI and YYC precision motion components to the machine builders shaping Maharashtra's factories.

Location: Navi Mumbai (Koparkhairane) HQ, with regular travel across Maharashtra (Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Kolhapur and Aurangabad)

Experience: 6–10 years The Role

You will own revenue for Luna's Mechatronics portfolio across the Mumbai region. Your customers are OEMs, machine builders, SPM makers and machine tool builders. You will win them directly and through a dealer network you build.

Your portfolio

- HIWIN: linear guideways, ball screws, single-axis modules (KK / SK series), torque motor rotary tables, crossed roller and ball screw support bearings.
- Sungil: precision couplings, ball screw support units, connecting shafts and A.P. Lock (power lock).
- WON: super linear bushings, linear bushings, cross roller guideways and linear motion shafts.
- TPI: precision angular contact ball bearings (incl. ceramic), ball screw support bearings, deep groove ball and cylindrical roller bearings.
- YYC: precision racks and pinions, guideway racks, rollers and planetary reducers.

What You Will Do

- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets for the Mumbai region.
- Win new OEM, machine builder, SPM and machine tool accounts, and convert installations of other leading linear motion brands to Luna's brands.
- Sell the complete axis: guideway, ball screw or rack and pinion, support units and bearings, couplings and reducers in one package.
- Build a dealer and channel network across Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Kolhapur and Aurangabad: appoint partners,



train them and grow their sales.
- Grow key accounts into long-term, multi-product relationships.
- Close deals with application-led proposals, sizing support and techno-commercial negotiation, backed by our product and application teams.
- Run a clean, forecast-ready pipeline in Salesforce and share regular territory and competitor insight.
- Coach sales engineers and dealer sales staff to sell solutions, not just parts.

Must Have

- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 6–10 years of sales in linear motion, precision bearings, power transmission or motion components, including at least 2 years owning a territory, key accounts or channel partners.
- Hands-on selection and sizing of linear guides, ball screws, rack and pinion or precision bearings for real machine applications.
- An active network of OEMs, machine builders, SPM makers and dealers in Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Kolhapur or Aurangabad.
- Fluent English, and willingness to travel regularly across Maharashtra from our Navi Mumbai HQ.

Good to Have

- Experience selling other leading linear motion brands is a plus.
- Marathi and Hindi (preferred).
- Exposure to CNC machines and machine tools, SPM, packaging, laser / plasma / waterjet cutting, wood working and router machines, printing, textile, material handling or medical diagnostic equipment.




- Salesforce or similar CRM experience; an MBA in Sales or Marketing.
