Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals within a designated geographical area. The ASM will drive sales growth, achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and ensure effective distribution of products. This role requires a strong leader with excellent sales acumen, a proven track record of success in sales management, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and market share objectives for the assigned area.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, providing regular coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure their continuous development and success.

- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, monitor individual and team performance, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met.

- Identify and pursue recent business opportunities, expand the customer base, and penetrate new markets within the designated territory.

- Build and maintain strong,

- Manage sales budgets, control expenses, and ensure efficient resource allocation to maximize profitability.

- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback for senior management.

- Conduct regular field visits with sales team members to support sales activities, address customer concerns, and provide on-the-job coaching.

- Oversee the effective implementation of promotional activities and marketing campaigns within the area.

- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
