Job Summary

SVVV is looking for a proficient Aptitude Trainer to prepare students for aptitude-based assessments conducted during campus recruitment. The candidate will be responsible for delivering concept-based and practice-oriented training in quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and analytical problem-solving, helping students improve accuracy, speed, and performance in competitive recruitment examinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct structured training sessions on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and analytical ability.

- Cover topics such as percentages, profit and loss, ratios, averages, time and work, time-speed-distance, permutations and combinations, probability, number systems, and data interpretation.

- Train students in logical and analytical reasoning, including series, puzzles, arrangements, coding-decoding, syllogisms, and critical reasoning.

- Familiarize students with aptitude assessment patterns used in campus recruitment and competitive placement tests.

- Teach shortcut techniques, time-management strategies, and approaches to improve problem-solving accuracy.

- Design practice worksheets, question banks, mock tests, and timed assessments based on placement requirements.

- Analyze student performance, identify learning gaps, and provide remedial training where required.

- Conduct periodic assessments and track student progress through performance reports.





- Collaborate with the Training and Placement Cell to customize training modules according to recruiter requirements.

- Prepare students for aptitude screening rounds conducted by IT companies, core-sector organizations, consulting firms, and other recruiters.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Robust conceptual understanding of quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning.

- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to explain complex concepts through simple, structured teaching methods.

- Familiarity with aptitude test formats, timed assessments, and placement examination patterns.

- Strong classroom management, communication, and student-engagement skills.

- Ability to design assessments and evaluate student performance effectively.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related quantitative discipline.

- Relevant experience in aptitude training, competitive examination coaching, or campus recruitment training is preferred.

- Experience in training engineering, management, or other undergraduate/postgraduate students will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile A methodical, analytical, and engaging trainer who can strengthen students fundamentals, improve their speed and accuracy, and help them successfully clear aptitude and logical reasoning rounds in corporate recruitment processes.
