Role DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Technician to manage the installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning systems at our showroom and associated facilities in Panvel.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, including Split AC, Cassette AC, Ductable AC, and VRF systems.

The technician will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation, minimizing equipment downtime, promptly resolving breakdowns, maintaining service records, and coordinating with the Admin Department and external vendors when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation &

• Maintenance: Install, inspect, service, maintain, and repair Split AC, Cassette AC, Ductable AC, and VRF air conditioning systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and longer equipment life.
- Troubleshooting &

- Repairs:



Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, and operational faults to minimize downtime.
- Refrigerant Management: Check refrigerant levels, identify and repair gas leakages, and perform refrigerant charging when required.
- Cleaning &
- Servicing: Clean and maintain filters, cooling coils, condensers, blowers, and drainage systems.
- Breakdown Management: Attend breakdown complaints promptly and ensure timely restoration of AC operations.
- Documentation &
- Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and equipment maintenance history.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external service providers, spare parts suppliers, and the Admin Department for major repairs and replacements.
- Safety &
- Compliance: Follow electrical safety procedures, equipment handling guidelines, and applicable maintenance standards.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend corrective measures to improve reliability.
Qualifications

- ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration & • Air Conditioning, HVAC Technology, or a related technical field preferred.

- SSC/HSC candidates with relevant practical experience may also apply.




- Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC maintenance will be an added advantage.

Experience Required
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial air conditioning systems.
- Practical experience working with Split AC, Cassette AC, Ductable AC, and VRF systems.
- Experience in retail showrooms, jewellery stores, shopping malls, or commercial buildings will be preferred.

Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment operation and maintenance.
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Refrigerant charging, gas leak detection, and repair.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ability to identify faults and perform timely repairs.
- Basic understanding of technical manuals and electrical safety procedures.
- Maintenance documentation and service reporting.
- Positive communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability.
