Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AIF Fundraising & Business Development Analyst with hands-on experience in Category II Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), fundraising, investor acquisition, and business development.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the AIF ecosystem and experience engaging with Family Offices, HNIs, UHNIs, wealth managers, institutional investors, and other potential capital partners. The candidate will be responsible for identifying fundraising opportunities, building investor relationships, generating leads, and supporting the fund's capital-raising activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive fundraising and business development initiatives for Category II AIFs.
- Identify, approach, and build relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, Family Offices, wealth managers, institutional investors, and other prospective investors.
- Generate qualified investor leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Manage the investor pipeline, conduct follow-ups, and coordinate investor meetings.
- Present fund strategies, investment opportunities, fund structures, and return profiles to prospective investors.
- Support investor onboarding, due diligence, pitch presentations, term sheets, and fund documentation.
- Coordinate with the investment, legal, compliance, and finance teams during the fundraising process.
- Track fundraising targets, commitments, conversion ratios, and investor engagement through CRM and regular MIS reports.
- Build strategic partnerships with wealth management firms, distributors, financial advisors,



and other fundraising channels.
- Stay updated on SEBI regulations, AIF guidelines, investor eligibility, and fundraising practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in AIF fundraising, alternative investments, private equity, wealth management, or financial services business development.
- Prior hands-on experience in Category II AIF fundraising is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, investor acquisition, lead generation, and relationship management.
- Established or demonstrable ability to develop relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, Family Offices, and wealth managers.
- Understanding of AIF fund structures, capital commitments, fund documentation, and the fundraising lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Robust follow-up, networking, and target-oriented execution capabilities.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with real estate-focused AIFs or private equity funds.
- Existing investor network across HNIs, UHNIs, Family Offices, and wealth management channels.
- Exposure to fund marketing materials, investor presentations, due diligence, and investor onboarding.
- Ability to independently manage fundraising pipelines and convert prospects into investor commitments.
