Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Farmer role based in Jalandhar. The Farmer will be responsible for managing day-to-day field activities, including soil preparation, planting, irrigation, crop care, and harvesting according to best agronomic practices. The role involves operating and maintaining agricultural machinery and tools, monitoring crop health, and applying appropriate pest and disease management techniques.

The Farmer will also support implementation of sustainable farming methods,



follow safety and environmental guidelines, and maintain accurate records of farm operations and yields. Collaboration with farm management and other team members to meet production targets and quality standards is an important part of this position.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform core agricultural tasks such as soil preparation, crop cultivation, irrigation management, and harvesting.
- Competence in operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, with attention to safety and efficiency.
- Knowledge of basic agronomy, crop health monitoring, and integrated pest and disease management practices.
- Understanding of sustainable and environmentally responsible farming methods, including resource and waste management.
- Solid physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic record-keeping skills for tracking inputs, yields, and field activities, and the ability to follow operational instructions.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a responsible and reliable work ethic.
- Prior farm experience or vocational training in agriculture is preferred; a formal qualification in agriculture or related field is an advantage.
