Job Title:AGM – SCM (Strategic Sourcing)

Div : Railway To lead and manage strategic sourcing and procurement activities for the Railway Division, ensuring timely availability of materials, competitive cost, quality compliance, supplier development, and continuity of supply in line with project and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Development for Railway projects and manufacturing requirements.

· Develop and implement sourcing strategies for sheet metal, fabricated parts, machined components, electrical/electronic items, assemblies and other railway-specific materials.

· Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers, including alternate and local sources.

· Drive cost reduction, cost negotiation, VA/VE, should-costing and commercial improvements.

· Manage RFQ, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations, PO finalization and contract terms.

· Ensure supplier capability, capacity, quality and delivery performance.

· Develop and maintain a robust supplier base and alternate sourcing strategy to minimize supply-chain risks.

· Coordinate closely with Engineering, NPD, Projects, Production, Quality and Finance for procurement requirements.

· Monitor supplier performance through cost, quality, delivery and responsiveness parameters.

· Lead strategic procurement for new projects and support NPD/Localization initiatives.

· Ensure adherence to procurement policies, commercial terms,



documentation and compliance requirements.

· Manage critical supplier escalations and ensure timely resolution of supply issues.

· Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Materials preferred.

· Experience: 12–18 years in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement / SCM, preferably in Railway, Automotive, Engineering, Sheet Metal, Fabrication or similar manufacturing industries.

· Robust experience in direct material sourcing and vendor development.

· Proven exposure to sheet metal, fabrication, machining, assemblies and engineering components.

· Strong negotiation, costing and commercial skills.

· Experience in supplier development, localization and alternate sourcing.

· Knowledge of SAP MM / ERP and procurement systems.

· Should have experience handling team, suppliers and high-value procurement portfolios.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
