Designation: Assistant General Manager – MEP

Department: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Reporting To: General Manager / Project Head

Job Purpose To lead and manage all MEP activities for real estate projects, ensuring timely execution, quality, safety, cost control, and compliance with applicable standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works across project sites.
2. Oversee the execution of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, firefighting, lifts, DG sets, and other building services.
3. Review MEP drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
4. Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
5. Monitor project progress, budgets, material procurement, and contractor performance.
6. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, fire safety regulations, and relevant codes and standards.
7. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control and adherence to safety procedures.
8. Identify and resolve technical issues, site discrepancies, and coordination clashes.
9. Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
10. Manage project documentation, MIS reports, and progress reviews.
11. Ensure timely completion of MEP works within approved budgets and project schedules.

Lead and mentor MEP engineers, supervisors, and site teams.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification or project management certification would be an advantage.

-Diploma with relevant experience

Experience

- 10-12 years of relevant experience in MEP execution and management, preferably in residential, commercial, high-rise, or mixed-use real estate projects.
- Experience in handling large-scale projects and managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams is preferred.

Required Skills
- Robust technical knowledge of MEP systems and building services.
- Project planning, budgeting, cost control, and execution management.
- Excellent coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant statutory approvals, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely completion of MEP works.
- Adherence to project budgets and quality standards.
- Compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
- Successful testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Effective contractor and resource management.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
