Role & responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations for construction projects, including contractor, subcontractor, consultant, and vendor payments.
- Drive weekly cash flow forecasting, funds planning, and payment proposals aligned with project funding requirements.
- Review and process RA bills, milestone-based payments, retention releases, advances, and statutory payments.
- Coordinate with Project, Procurement, Contracts, and Treasury teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Monitor AP aging, outstanding liabilities, and disputed invoices, ensuring timely resolution.
- Validate invoices against contracts, work completion certificates, purchase orders, and project budgets.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, internal controls, and financial governance requirements.
- Support month-end closures, accruals, reconciliations, and project cost reporting.
- Prepare MIS reports on AP aging, cash flow, project liabilities, and payment status.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices across AP operations.

Essential Attributes

Technical

- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Project Accounting, and Construction Finance.
- Experience in contractor billing, RA bills,



milestone payments, retention accounting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Understanding of CapEx accounting, project cost controls, GST, and TDS compliance.
- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems; SAP PS, MM, FI, and VIM exposure preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and financial reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-10 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Project Finance, or Construction Finance.
- Experience managing contractor/vendor payments, reconciliations, and AP aging.
- Exposure to Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Manufacturing, or Greenfield Project environments.
- Experience handling audits, compliance, and financial governance.
- Prior team management experience preferred.

Qualifications MBA (Finance) / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / B.Com with relevant experience.

Experience Required: 5-10 years.
