Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a background in the Mining / Minerals industry to manage day-to-day accounting operations, vendor and contractor bills, taxation compliance, reconciliations, payments, and financial documentation.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of accounting systems, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and coordination with internal departments and external parties.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Verify vendor, contractor, and site-related bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Check purchase orders, service orders, invoice details, and applicable GST information.
- Maintain accounting records in Tally or other relevant accounting software.
- Process vendor payments and maintain payment records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Support GST compliance, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B documentation and filing coordination.
- Handle TDS-related entries, calculations, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare monthly payment sheets and maintain financial reports.




- Maintain records related to PF/ESIC entries, wherever applicable.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing relevant documents and records.
- Coordinate with site teams, purchase, HR/payroll, vendors, contractors, and internal auditors.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.

Required Skills
- Practical experience in accounting and finance operations.
- Knowledge of Tally and accounting entries.
- Understanding of GST, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and TDS.
- Experience in vendor billing, contractor bills, and payment processing.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Experience in invoice verification and financial documentation.
- Good knowledge of Excel and accounting reports.
- Solid coordination, attention to detail, and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 6–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Candidates from the Mining / Minerals industry will be preferred.
- Experience handling vendor bills, contractor payments, GST, TDS, and reconciliations will be an advantage.
- Candidates should have good analytical skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
