Role Description The Accountant (Logistics) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities related to logistics operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts for freight, warehousing, and transportation costs.

The individual will prepare and review invoices, monitor payable and receivable accounts specific to logistics, and assist in budgeting and cost analysis to support operational efficiency. The role also includes ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies,



coordinating with logistics and operations teams to validate financial data, and preparing regular financial reports for management review. The Accountant (Logistics) will collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and contribute to process improvements in the accounting and logistics workflows.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in core accounting functions such as ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain accounting, including handling freight, transportation, warehousing costs, and related documentation.
- Strong knowledge of applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to logistics operations.
- Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and other digital tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with operations, HR, and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certification (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
