Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Hospital Accountant to manage the hospital’s financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, monitor revenue and expenses, and ensure proper financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for handling patient billing records, insurance claims, vendor payments, payroll, and other hospital-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily financial records and accounting transactions.

- Prepare and verify patient bills, invoices, receipts, and payment records.

- Monitor cash collections from OP, IP, pharmacy, laboratory, and other hospital departments.

- Reconcile daily cash collections, card payments, and online transactions.

- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and supplier payments.

- Maintain records of insurance claims, corporate billing, and outstanding patient payments.

- Prepare daily, monthly, and annual financial reports.

- Monitor hospital expenses, budgets, and cash flow.

- Handle bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance,



and general accounting entries.

- Assist with payroll processing and staff salary records.

- Maintain financial documentation for audits and ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations.

- Coordinate with hospital departments, management, auditors, and insurance companies.

- Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related information.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

- Experience in hospital accounting is preferred.

- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, hospital management systems (HMS), and MS Excel.

- Understanding of patient billing, insurance claims, and hospital revenue management.

- Solid numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.

- Good communication skills, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
