Academic Counselor – Admissions & Education Sales

Experience: 1–2 years preferred; freshers with robust communication and sales skills can also apply.

Job Summary

Cyrix Academy is looking for a motivated and target-oriented Academic Counselor to handle student enquiries, provide course guidance, and convert prospective students into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle student enquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and online channels.
- Explain courses, eligibility criteria, fees, duration, and career opportunities.
- Counsel students and parents to help them choose suitable training programs.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert leads into paid admissions.
- Maintain student enquiry details, follow-ups, and admission records in CRM.
- Achieve assigned admission and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with the academic team for batch schedules, enrolment, and student onboarding.
- Participate in admission campaigns, college outreach, and promotional activities.




- Prepare daily activity updates and reports on enquiries and conversions.

Skills Required
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong student counseling and relationship management skills.
- Sales, negotiation, and admission conversion abilities.
- Good lead management and follow-up skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
- Salesforce or CRM knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.

Qualifications
- Any degree or diploma.
- Experience in student counseling, educational admissions, education sales, or customer relationship management is preferred.
