Ab Initio Developer

Pune / Chennai / Bengaluru | Full-time | 6-9 years

Altimetrik is hiring an Ab Initio Developer to design, develop and support enterprise-scale ETL and data integration solutions for banking and financial services applications.

What you’ll do

- Design, develop, test and maintain ETL applications using Ab Initio
- Build and optimise Ab Initio graphs using GDE, and work with Co>Operating System, EME and Conduct>It
- Build batch and continuous data processing workflows
- Write complex SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle, and develop UNIX/Linux shell scripts for automation
- Perform ETL performance tuning, data validation and reconciliation
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and support code reviews, testing and deployments
- Work with scheduling tools such as Autosys or Control-M





What we’re looking for

- 6-9 years of robust hands-on Ab Initio ETL development
- Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, EME and Conduct>It
- Strong SQL and Oracle knowledge, and UNIX/Linux shell scripting
- Good understanding of data warehousing and data integration concepts
- Production support and troubleshooting experience
- Continuous Flows, Express>It, Metadata Hub, Hadoop/Hive/Snowflake, Python, Jenkins/CI/CD and banking domain experience are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
