Job Summary

D A R Jewellery is looking for a Retail Trainer with robust jewellery industry knowledge to improve showroom employee performance through structured training, product education, sales coaching, customer service development, and regular performance assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Product Knowledge Training

- Train employees on gold purity, BIS hallmarking, HUID, diamond jewellery, silver, antique jewellery, and other relevant product categories.
- Explain jewellery pricing, making charges, product features, and applicable promotional offers.
- Ensure employees communicate product information accurately and confidently.

Sales & Customer Service Training

- Train showroom staff in customer greeting, requirement identification, product presentation, objection handling, negotiation, and closing sales.
- Develop cross-selling and upselling skills.
- Train employees to handle wedding customers, premium buyers, repeat customers, and difficult customer interactions.
- Improve customer experience, service etiquette, and professional communication.

Training Planning & Execution

- Conduct induction training for new showroom employees.
- Prepare training calendars, learning materials, assessments, and role-play exercises.
- Conduct regular showroom visits and on-the-job coaching.




- Identify employee skill gaps and create improvement plans.
- Coordinate with showroom managers to address sales and service issues.

Performance Monitoring

- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and practical observations.
- Track pre-training and post-training performance.
- Identify low-performing employees and provide targeted coaching.
- Submit monthly training reports and improvement recommendations to management.

Eligibility

- Graduate qualification preferred.
- 5+ years of jewellery retail experience, with demonstrated staff training or coaching capability preferred.
- Experience as a showroom trainer, sales manager, floor manager, or senior jewellery sales professional.
- Strong presentation, communication, coaching, and assessment skills.
- Willingness to travel between showrooms as required.

- Training completion and assessment scores.
- Improvement in showroom conversion rates.
- Improvement in average bill value and sales productivity.
- Reduction in product knowledge and customer service errors.
- New employee readiness and time to productivity.
- Training effectiveness and showroom manager feedback.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
