Job Description

We are looking for a Labour Recruitment Coordinator to help source workers for a large-scale project in Maharashtra.

The candidate will be responsible for contacting workers, coordinating with labour contractors, collecting documents, and helping arrange workers for project deployment.

Responsibilities

- Contact workers and labour contractors in Kolkata and nearby areas.
- Source electricians, helpers, technicians, and other suitable workers.
- Coordinate with labour contractors who can provide workers in groups.
- Collect worker details and required documents through WhatsApp.
- Verify worker identity, experience, availability, and willingness to work in Maharashtra.
- Maintain worker records in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Follow up with workers regarding joining dates and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Mumbai office for worker verification and deployment.




- Provide daily updates on the number of workers contacted, verified, and ready to join.

Requirements

- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of Kolkata's local labour market is an advantage.
- Experience in recruitment, manpower supply, or labour contracting is preferred.
- Candidates with existing contacts among workers or labour contractors are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of WhatsApp and Excel.

Compensation

Salary and performance incentives will be discussed during the interview, depending on experience and the candidate's ability to source workers.

Candidates with a strong network of labour contractors and workers will be given preference.
