Position: Sales Manager, Muzaffarpur cluster (Bihar)

Reports to: Owner / Head of Sales Location: Based in Muzaffarpur, with regular travel across a 100 km radius

Team: 2-3 promoters / field executives, to be hired and managed by this role

Purpose of the role. Build and protect our garment wholesale business in Muzaffarpur and the towns around it, such as Sitamarhi, Motihari, Hajipur, Samastipur and Darbhanga. You will open new wholesalers, deepen existing ones, grow brand presence at retail level, and make sure every rupee sold on credit comes back on time.

Key responsibilities

- Map wholesalers and retailers in the territory, and track which competing brands they stock.
- Meet the monthly sales target for the cluster and report weekly.
- Collect payments on time and keep outstanding within each party's credit limit and period.
- Recruit, train, and manage promoters; set their visit plans and review their work weekly.
- Run retailer meets, scheme launches, display and shop-branding drives, especially before Chhath, Diwali, winter and the wedding season.
- Share market intelligence: competitor prices, schemes, margins, and new designs in demand.
- Keep customer and market data in the company's tracker,

Requirements

- 5+ years in garment, hosiery or textile sales in Bihar or eastern UP; at least 2 years handling a territory on credit.
- Existing relationships with wholesalers in North Bihar.
- Proven record of collections, not only billing.
- Fluent in Hindi; Maithili or Bhojpuri is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable with WhatsApp, Excel or Google Sheets, and basic order and ledger tracking.
- Own two-wheeler and willingness to travel up to 15-20 days a month.
- Graduate preferred, but experience matters more than degree.

Pay and benefits (indicative; adjust to the candidate and local market)

- Fixed salary: roughly ₹25,000-40,000 per month depending on experience.
- Incentive: a monthly percentage on collections received, not on billing.
- Fuel and mobile allowance, plus a daily allowance for outstation days.
- 3-month probation with a explicit target sheet.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
