Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintenance;-Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and utility equipment.

Ensure maximum machine availability by minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with mínimal disruption.

Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and service documentation.

Monitor the performance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Ensure availability of critical spare parts and coordinate with the purchase and stores departments.

Implement preventive maintenance schedules and equipment improvement plans.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory maintenance requirements.

Projects:

- Plan, execute, and monitor plant expansion, machinery installation, relocation, and commissioning projects.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments for successful project execution.

Prepare project schedules, budgets, technical specifications, and progress reports.

Conduct site inspections and ensure projects are completed within timelines and budget.

Support automation, process improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.





Participate in layout modifications and utility planning for new equipment.

Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.

Experience

3-7 years of experience in maintenance and project engineering within metal manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing.

Experience in machinery installation, commissioning, and plant maintenance is preferred.

Required Skills : Strong knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Knowledge of utility equipment such as compressors, DG sets, pumps, cooling systems, and material handling equipment.

Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.

Good knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, and ERP/CMMS systems.

Strong troubleshooting, planning, and project management skills.

Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.

- Proactive and result-oriented professional with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple maintenance and project activities simultaneously.

Strong vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills.

Willingness to work in a manufacturing plant environment.
