Job Title : Store Incharge Industry : Building & Construction (CPWD Projects)

Job Description - Store Incharge

Key Responsibilities :

- Material Management :

- Maintain proper records of all incoming and outgoing construction materials.

- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials like cement, steel, electrical items, plumbing materials, finishing materials, etc.

- GRN & Documentation :

- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Note (GRN) for all materials received at site.

- Verify materials received with Purchase Order (PO), challan, and invoice .

- Inventory Control :

- Maintain accurate stock register and inventory records .

- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform purchase department for timely procurement.

- Material Issue & Tracking :

- Issue materials to site engineers and contractors as per approved material requisition slip .

- Track daily material consumption and maintain proper records.

- Coordination :

- Coordinate with purchase department, site engineers, and vendors for smooth material supply.

- Assist in resolving discrepancies in material quantity or quality.

- ERP / Software Entry :

- Update all material transactions in ERP / inventory management system .





- Maintain digital and physical documentation for audits.

- Loading & Unloading Supervision :

- Supervise loading and unloading of construction materials at site/store.

- Ensure proper stacking and safety of materials.

- Stock Verification :

- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation .

- Report shortages, damages, or wastage to management.

- Compliance :

- Ensure proper material handling, safety, and housekeeping in store area.

- Maintain records as per CPWD project requirements and site audit standards .

Key Skills Required

- Knowledge of construction materials and site store management :

- Experience in GRN, stock register, inventory control :

- Basic knowledge of ERP / Excel :

- Good coordination and documentation skills

- Ability to handle site store operations independently

Qualification

- Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (preferred in Civil or related field)

Experience

- 5-7 years experience in store management in building construction / CPWD projects

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
