Core Responsibilities

- Production & Procurement Strategy : Oversee the end-to-end procurement of raw materials, industrial consumables, and equipment required to keep production lines running without interruption.
- Cost & Budget Management : Develop production budgets, monitor expenses, and conduct continuous variance analysis of budgeted versus actual costs to improve Return on Investment (ROI).
- Contract & Vendor Negotiations : Negotiate high-value contracts and terms with suppliers, logistics partners, and vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing and optimal commercial conditions.
- Supply Chain & Logistics : Coordinate with planning, production, and warehouse teams to ensure a steady flow of materials, manage inventory levels, and oversee dispatch processes.
- Commercial Compliance & Reporting : Ensure all operations comply with relevant statutory and taxation laws (e.g., GST, customs, local regulations)

Essential Qualifications & Skills

- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Finance; an MBA is highly preferred.
- Experience : 10-15 years of progressive experience in plant commercial operations, supply chain, or manufacturing finance.
- Business Acumen : Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, working capital management, and supply chain logistics.
- Technical Proficiencies : Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) and data analytical tools for forecasting and cost analysis.
- Soft Skills : Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills
