Job Description - Purchase Manager Position: Purchase Manager Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Location: Moriya Industry: Printing & Packaging Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement. - Source and negotiate with suppliers for paper, board, inks, adhesives, packaging materials, and other production-related items. - Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. - Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and stores departments to avoid stock shortages. - Ensure timely procurement of materials to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. - Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries. - Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings. - Maintain procurement records and generate periodic purchase reports. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures. - Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing.



Required Skills - Solid negotiation and vendor management skills. - Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - 5-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Printing & Packaging industry. - Experience in sourcing paper, packaging materials, inks, and related manufacturing supplies will be preferred.
