Job Purpose

The Duty Officer acts as the immediate supervisor to Guest Service Associates / Service Associates, ensuring smooth day-to-day cinema operations. This role involves mentoring, coaching, and supervising the team, while taking corrective actions in case of deviations. The Duty Officer is the first point of contact for customer concerns and plays a key role in maintaining service standards and operational discipline.

Scope

- Direct Reportees : Guest Service Associates / Service Associates

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure responsibility areas are clean, equipped, and operational (POS systems, equipment, BGM, marketing collaterals).
- Conduct pre-opening auditorium checks and ensure timely opening of shows.
- Brief team members on new releases and marketing initiatives; monitor effectiveness.
- Support ESPs fully and act as a solution provider.
- Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure concession and box office areas maintain aesthetic presentation.
- Monitor FIFO practices, especially for perishable products.
- Maintain displays, danglers, and visuals at concession counters.




- Train staff in upselling, suggestive selling, and in-auditorium selling.
- Ensure smooth functioning of daily operations and value service delivery.
- Strictly avoid handling cinema imprest or daily cash drop safe.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality or cinema operations.

Working Conditions

- Based in cinema environment.
- Requires operational presence during shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Salary Range

₹2.5 - 3.2 LPA

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
