As we continue to scale, we're hiring a detail oriented and process driven WordPress QA Tester to ensure high quality deliveries across our multiple client WordPress websites.

Job Summary

As a WordPress QA Tester, you'll be responsible for performing manual and functional testing across our portfolio of client WordPress websites (custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce stores, and content driven sites). You'll work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure that every client site functions smoothly across devices, browsers, and business scenarios before going live.

Team You'll Work With

You'll be embedded in a cross functional delivery team of developers, designers, and project managers, collaborating daily with colleagues based in different countries. Reporting structure and day to day workflow will be shared during onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

- Test custom WordPress themes and plugins across multiple client sites for functionality, UI consistency, responsiveness, and performance
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases based on each project's requirements
- Validate WooCommerce flows (cart, checkout, orders, payments) on client sites where applicable
- Perform responsive checks emulating a variety of screen sizes and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- Conduct cross browser and cross device testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues,



and document them clearly with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and severity in task tracking tools such as ClickUp, Trello, or Jira
- Flag UX/UI friction points and potential design issues spotted during testing, even when a fix isn't immediately actionable, so they can be tracked and considered by the team
- Verify integration with third party APIs, forms, and role based user flows where applicable
- Validate SEO elements, redirections, form validations, and error messages
- Verify Google Analytics/Tag Manager tracking implementation
- Conduct smoke, regression, and exploratory testing as part of routine release cycles across client sites
- Coordinate with the development team during bug resolution and retesting
- Provide final sign off for production deployment

Must-Have Skills

- 2+ years of hands on QA testing experience with WordPress websites
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and the software development lifecycle
- Strong ability to write clear, detailed test cases and bug reports
- Familiarity with browser dev tools, HTML/CSS, and a basic understanding of PHP error handling/logs
- Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack, Postman for API testing)
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications





- Exposure to writing automated tests using Selenium or Playwright (or similar frameworks)
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and ability to validate API responses
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows and staging/live setting deployment processes
- Knowledge of accessibility and performance testing is a plus
- Experience managing QA across multiple concurrent client projects/sites
- Comfortable identifying and articulating UX/UI friction points and design issues, beyond strictly functional bugs
