Position: Sales Officer

Location: Delhi, Bihar (Gaya) and Jharkhand (Ranchi)

Job Summary

The Sales Officer is responsible for driving business growth by developing new customers, strengthening existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role involves identifying market opportunities, promoting the company's product portfolio, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring exceptional customer service to maximize revenue and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail, wholesale, supermarkets, hypermarkets, distributors, restaurants, hotels, catering services, and other food service channels.
- Generate leads through market visits, networking, and customer referrals.
- Expand the company's customer base by acquiring current accounts and maintaining long-term business relationships.

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned by the management.
- Promote and sell the company's food products while maximizing market penetration.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize sales agreements in accordance with company policies.

3. Customer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen business partnerships and identify additional sales opportunities.

4. Product Promotion & Market Representation

- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and sampling activities for prospective and existing customers.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, promotional events, and customer meetings.

5. Market Research & Competitive Analysis





- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Collect market intelligence and provide actionable feedback to management.
- Identify emerging opportunities and recommend strategies to increase market share.

6. Sales Administration & Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, orders, and collections.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Ensure timely submission of sales documentation and customer information.

7. Coordination & Internal Collaboration

- Work closely with the production, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and order fulfilment.
- Coordinate with the marketing department to support promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Assist in inventory planning by communicating market demand and customer requirements.

8. Collections & Payment Follow-up

- Monitor customer payment schedules and ensure timely collection of outstanding dues.
- Coordinate with the accounts department regarding customer credit limits and payment status.
- Minimize overdue receivables while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience , preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Experience in handling distributors, retailers, supermarkets, and HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants & Cafés) clients will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
