Job Title: Industrial Electrician (Trainer / Instructor)

Location : Jamnagar & Devbhumi Dwarka (Gujarat, India)

Job Summary : The Industrial Electrician Trainer is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training to students in industrial electrical systems. The role includes conducting hands-on demonstrations, maintaining lab equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and preparing trainees for employment in industrial environments as per NSQF / ITI / Skill Council standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Demonstrate installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems.

- Conduct hands-on training on:

- Electrical wiring (single-phase & three-phase)

- Electric motors (AC & DC), starters, and protection devices

- Control panels, contactors, relays, timers, and MCCs

- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)

- PLC basics and industrial automation fundamentals

- Transformers, energy meters, power factor meters, and earthing systems

- Guide students in fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and institute safety policies.

- Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, and practical assessment modules.

- Maintain training labs, tools, instruments, and consumables.

- Conduct internal assessments, evaluations, and assist in final examinations.

- Support students during industrial visits, projects,



and on-the-job training.

- Maintain student attendance, progress reports, and training documentation.

- Coordinate with placement and industry partners for skill alignment.

Required Qualifications :

- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Certified Industrial Electrician (ITI preferred).
- Minimum 2-10 years of industrial or teaching experience (training experience preferred).
- Knowledge of NSQF / SSC / ITI curriculum standards is an advantage.

Technical Skills :

- Industrial wiring and panel wiring
- Motor control circuits and starters (DOL, Star-Delta, Soft Starter)
- Electrical measuring instruments (Multimeter, Megger, Clamp Meter)
- VFD operation and parameter setting
- Basic PLC and control logic understanding
- Electrical safety, PPE usage, and standards (IEC / IS)

Soft Skills :

- Robust communication and teaching skills
- Ability to explain concepts practically and clearly
- Student mentoring and discipline management
- Documentation and reporting skills

Working Conditions :

- Classroom and electrical workshop environment
- Hands-on practical training with live electrical systems (as per safety norms)

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Pay: ₹10,668.57 - ₹50,000.50 per month
