Role Objective To ensure the seamless operation of the automated production line by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex electrical faults, and optimizing PLC-controlled systems to minimize downtime in the cemented sheet manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities System Maintenance: Oversee and maintain the electrical infrastructure of the automation plant, including PLC panels (Siemens/Schneider/Delta), VFDs, and HMI systems. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns in heavy machinery, conveyor systems, and automatic stacking units. Preventive Action: Execute periodic maintenance schedules for motors, transformers, switchgears (ACB/VCB), and APFC panels to prevent unexpected failures. Automation Support: Monitor and calibrate sensors (proximity, photoelectric, ultrasonic) and actuators critical to the fiber-cement sheet forming process. Safety Compliance:
Ensure all electrical installations adhere to safety standards; manage Earth-Pit testing and Lightning Arrester maintenance.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in reading Electrical Circuit Diagrams and SLDs (Single Line Diagrams).
- Hands-on experience with Star-Delta starters , DOL starters, and control wiring.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus) is a plus.
- Ability to work with high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) power distribution.
Education ITI (Electrician) / Diploma in Electrical / B.Tech (Electrical/EEE) Experience 2-5 years in a manufacturing plant (Experience in Automation/Cement/Sheet plants preferred)
