Field Service Engineer responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Agilent GCMS and multi-vendor analytical systems at customer locations. Diagnoses equipment issues, optimizes configurations, and ensures customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance guidance and technical support.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and optimize GCMS hardware, software, and networking products at customer sites

Diagnose and resolve GCMS system performance issues and equipment problems

Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair services for analytical instruments

Advise customers on maintenance practices and system configurations to optimize performance





Collaborate with internal teams and manage technical escalations for customer solutions

Requirements

- Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Instrumentation, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Life Science
- 5+ years relevant experience in analytical instrumentation or field service
- Knowledge of GCMS analytical instruments and basic theoretical principles
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with technical aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel 100% and meet customer credentialing requirements
