Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that process large volumes of data with high performance and reliability.
Build production-grade software using languages such as Java, Go, Python, or C++ .
Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of core platform components.
Improve the scalability, performance, and reliability of distributed systems.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, debugging, and problem-solving with experienced engineers.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and Software Engineering .
Good understanding of core Computer Science fundamentals, including Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Databases, and Distributed Systems .




Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, Go, or Python .
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a passion for building scalable software.
Internship, academic projects, or hands-on experience in backend systems, distributed systems, cloud technologies, or AI/ML is a plus.

Work on cutting-edge AI and distributed systems challenges at enterprise scale.
Learn from experienced engineers through mentorship, code reviews, and team-oriented design.
Build products that power data-driven decisions for global organizations.
In-Office at ThoughtSpot
Spotters are expected in-office 3+ days per week to be part of the energy of their local team. Being in-office is our default way of working, with flexibility available where it's genuinely needed.

Spotters are expected to demonstrate AI literacy and workflow integration to include to ability to:
Comfortably and confidently integrate artificial intelligence into their daily workflow to increase productivity and quality.
Hands-on experience to leverage AI tools (industry-leading LLMs) to increase productivity, automate routine tasks, and improve work quality.
Speak to the experience of using AI for research,



content creation, and document summarization while maintaining ownership of judgment and final decisions.
Write effective prompts to get the most accurate and creative results from AI tools.
