About the Role :We are seeking a Senior QA Lead with robust payroll/HCM domain expertise to drive end-to-end testing for a large, multi-country payroll implementation.This role combines hands-on test automation leadership with deep payroll process knowledge, requiring close collaboration with the product team and client stakeholders.Key Responsibilities :- Design and execute payroll test scenarios, including retro, off-cycle, and year-end processing.- Own test automation for assigned modules/projects and design and enhance robust, reusable automation frameworks.- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, BDD, and Java.- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and the product team to understand requirements.- Execute automated tests, report results, identify, log, and track defects, and support root cause analysis.- Contribute to test plans, strategies,



and process improvements.- Mentor junior team members on automation best practices.- Analyze complex defects and drive improvements in automation strategy.- Provide product demos and walkthroughs of product functionalities to stakeholders.- Travel as required by project needs.Requirements :- 8+ years of experience in QA/test leadership, with at least 4 - 5 years testing payroll or HCM systems on large, multi-country implementations.- Hands-on experience testing end-to-end payroll processes, including gross-to-net, tax withholding, deductions, and GL reconciliation.- Experience with Workday Payroll, Oracle Payroll, SAP Payroll, and/or ADP preferred.- Strong programming proficiency in Java with automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber/BDD.- Experience with test management tools such as Jira and API testing tools such as Postman and REST Assured.- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.- Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.- Preferred experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, performance testing, security testing, and Core HR, Time, and Benefits.Skills :- Payroll Testing (Workday/Oracle/SAP/ADP).- Selenium with Java and BDD/Cucumber.- Test Automation Framework Design.- Jira.- CI/CD Integration (Jenkins).- Client-Facing Communication.- Gross-to-Net and GL Reconciliation Testing.- API Testing (Postman/REST Assured).
