Role Overview

We are looking for Data Scientists with strong Machine Learning and LLM expertise who can independently own projects end-to-end, collaborate with business stakeholders, and build practical AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and deploy Machine Learning models for real-world business problems.
- Build and optimize LLM-powered applications, including RAG solutions.
- Own projects end-to-end, from data preparation and modelling to deployment, evaluation and monitoring.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production model issues and improve performance and reliability.
- Evaluate retrieval quality, answer correctness and overall model performance.
- Develop and maintain data-driven applications and REST APIs.

Required Skills
- Strong Python programming and practical Machine Learning experience.
- Solid understanding of statistical modelling, feature engineering and model evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI and RAG architectures.
- Solid SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions,



aggregations and query optimization.
- FastAPI knowledge, including REST API development, routing, HTTP methods, request/response handling, Pydantic validation, dependency injection and exception handling.
- Ability to troubleshoot production ML/LLM issues and improve system performance.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying and monitoring production ML/LLM applications.
- Familiarity with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search and reranking.
- Experience with LLM evaluation, hallucination reduction and response grounding.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and API performance optimization using FastAPI.
- Ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business outcomes.

Candidate Expectations
- Comfortable working on-site in Bangalore, Monday to Friday.
- Willing to commit to a one-year contract, with potential extension.
- Available to join within 7–10 days, preferably.
- Able to explain technical decisions and demonstrate hands-on project ownership.

Interview Process

The initial technical screening will be a 30-minute round covering SQL and FastAPI. Candidates should be prepared for basic, intermediate and advanced technical questions in both areas.

Shortlisted candidates will proceed to a client interview, ideally in one round.
