The EVS / General Science Primary Teacher is responsible for teaching environmental studies and basic science concepts to primary school students. The teacher will create engaging, activity-based lessons that encourage curiosity, observation, and understanding of the natural world.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning

- Teach Environmental Studies (EVS) and General Science to primary grade students.
- Prepare and deliver interactive lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
- Use activity-based and experiential teaching methods.
- Encourage students to explore nature, environment, and scientific thinking.

2. Lesson Planning

- Prepare weekly and annual lesson plans.
- Develop teaching aids, worksheets, and learning materials.
- Integrate real-life examples and experiments in lessons.

3. Classroom Management

- Maintain a positive and safe classroom setting.
- Encourage discipline, participation, and teamwork among students.
- Monitor student behavior and learning progress.

4. Student Assessment

- Conduct regular assessments,



quizzes, and project work.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain records of student progress.

5. Practical Learning

- Organize simple science experiments and environmental activities.
- Conduct nature walks, observation activities, and project-based learning.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Science / Education / Environmental Studies :

- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)

- Basic knowledge of primary science and environmental education

- Ability to explain concepts in simple and engaging ways
- Creativity in lesson planning
- Classroom management skills
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with young children

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
